Grief: The Little Things You Loved

Grief: The Little Things You Loved

Something I wrote about finding my mom in all of the little things that still remain that remind me of her

"I find you in the ocean waves crashing on the sand. In every beautiful color of every sunset that never fails to meet land. I find you in the autumn leaves falling to the ground. In every bird that stops by but never makes a sound. I find you on those back roads that we used to love to drive. I find you when the snowflakes fall from the cold, dark winter sky. I find you in the springtime when those flowers start to bloom. I find you in my heart, where you will forever have a room. I find you in every day, in every beautiful place. I find you in every song, in every season, in every sky, and in every space. Wherever my eyes wander, I am forever finding you, in all of the little things that you used to love to do."
